Prof. Dr. Christoph TreskatisTechnische Uni­ver­si­tät Darm­stadt

Prof. Dr. habil. Christoph Treskatis ist Hydrogeologe und außerplanmäßiger Professor an der Technischen Universität Darmstadt am Institut Wasser, Abwasser, Raumplanung sowie wissenschaftlicher Leiter bei der Bieske und Partner Beratende Ingenieure GmbH, Lohmar. Er ist national und international im Bereich der technischen Beratung und Planung bei der Wassergewinnung und der Wasserversorgung tätig und ist seit mehr als 20 Jahren in der beruflichen Aus- und Weiterbildung im Wasserfach engagiert. Prof. Treskatis ist zudem Autor zahlreicher Fachbücher und Fachartikel.

Julia BrauneGerman Water Partner­ship

Julia Braune ist Geschäftsführerin bei German Water Partnership und verfügt über langjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich der Umweltdienstleistungen, davon rund zwölf Jahre in der Wasserwirtschaft. Frau Braune ist fachlich bestens vertraut mit wasserwirtschaftlichen Fragestellungen und den Marktanforderungen. Sie führte vor der Übernahme der Geschäftsführung von GWP e.V. in 2017 bereits Unternehmen der Wasserversorgung und Abwasserentsorgung, entwickelte und steuerte darüber hinaus verschiedenste Projekte mit kommunalen und industriellen Kooperationspartnern.

Prof. Dr. Wilhelm UrbanTechnische Uni­ver­si­tät Darm­stadt

Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr. nat. techn. Wilhelm Urban leitet das Fachgebiet Wasserversorgung und Grundwasserschutz an der Technischen Universität Darmstadt. Er ist Gewinner des Chemviron Carbon Award für die Entwicklung des KSVA-Verfahrens zur verbesserten Beladung von Aktivkohle mit Spurenstoffen bei konkurrierender Adsorption natürlicher Wasserinhaltsstoffe. Seine Forschungstätigkeiten erstrecken sich von Deutschland über China, Indien, den Iran bis nach Namibia und Süd-Amerika. Er ist aktives Mitglied in der Ethikkommission und der FIF-Kommission zur Förderung der interdisziplinären Forschung an der TU Darmstadt sowie im Bildungsbeirat und der Leitung des Arbeitskreises Professoren und Dozenten für Wasserversorgung an Universitäten des DVGW.

Prof. Christoph TreskatisDarmstadt University of Technology 

Prof. Dr. habil. Christoph Treskatis is a hydrogeologist and an adjunct professor at the
Darmstadt University of Technology at the Institute of Water, Wastewater and Spatial Planning and
scientific director at Bieske and Partner Beratende Ingenieure GmbH, Lohmar.
He is active nationally and internationally in the field of technical consulting and planning in water extraction and water supply. He has been involved in professional education and training in the water sector for more than 20 years.
He is also the author of numerous specialist books and journal articles.

Julia BrauneGerman Water Partnership

Julia Braune is Managing Director at German Water Partnership and has many years of professional experience in the field of environmental services, including about 12 years in the water industry. She is therefore very familiar with water management issues and market requirements. She also has extensive experience in project management, business development and communication as well as human resources management. Before taking over the management of GWP e.V. in 2017, she already managed companies in the water supply and wastewater disposal sector and developed and managed a wide range of projects with municipal and industrial cooperation partners.

Prof. Dr. Wilhelm UrbanDarmstadt University of Technology 

Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr. nat. techn. Wilhelm Urban is head of the Department of Water Supply and Groundwater Protection at Darmstadt University of Technology.
He is the winner of the Chemviron Carbon Award for the development of a process to improve the loading of activated carbon with trace substances while competing with the adsorption of natural water constituents. His research activities span from Germany to China, India, Iran, Namibia, and South America.
He is an active member of the ethics committee and the FIF committee for the promotion of interdisciplinary research at the Darmstadt University of Technology, as well as the educational advisory board and the management of the DVGW working group of professors and lecturers for water supply at universities.
